The primary job of every Follower of Jesus Christian is summarized in the Great Commission, which is found in Matthew 28:19-20. In these verses, Jesus instructs His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything He commanded.

Essentially, this means spreading the message of the Gospel, sharing the love of Christ, and living a life that reflects the teachings of Jesus. This includes acts of love, compassion, forgiveness, and service to others, as well as personal growth in faith and obedience to God’s will. Each individual Follower may fulfill this calling in various ways depending on their gifts, abilities, and circumstances, but the overarching goal is to bring glory to God and to share the message of salvation with others.
